Early Access Is Over: Vaults 4 to 10 Are Now a One-Time $2.99

From today, Pro costs a single $2.99 payment. Vaults 1 to 3 stay free. Here's what changes, what doesn't, and why.

The Crack the Vault crew ·

When we opened the vaults, we made you a promise: when early access ends, we'll tell you the price on the site before it applies to anyone. This is that post.

From today, Pro costs a one-time payment of $2.99. Pro is Vaults 4 to 10, the seven hardest safes in the game.

What stays free

  • Vaults 1 and 2. No sign-up, no card. Walk in and start cracking.
  • Vault 3. It just needs a free account, so your progress is saved on any device.
  • Every vault you've already cracked. Your ranks and history stay on your vault map.

What changes

Vaults 4 to 10 now need Pro. That includes players who claimed free early access. Early access was a test run, and it's over for everyone at once, so nobody gets a different deal from the player next to them.

If you're partway through the Pro vaults, the ones you've cracked stay cracked. The next time you open a Pro vault, you'll be asked to unlock Pro, and then you're straight back in.

What $2.99 gets you

  • All seven Pro vaults. The Art Deco Bank Vault through The Masterpiece.
  • One payment, for good. No subscription, no renewal, nothing to cancel.
  • Nothing to win, nothing to lose. Pro is an access fee for harder puzzles, the same way you'd buy a puzzle book. You pay to play more, never to win money. We explain why that line matters in Not Just Another Gaming App.

Checkout is handled by Dodo Payments, our payment partner. Your card details go to them, never to us.

Why we're charging

Good puzzles take time. Every lock in a Pro vault is written, solved blind by someone who never saw the answer, and tuned until it's hard for the right reasons. $2.99 keeps that work going, and keeps new vaults coming.

To everyone who played early

Thank you. You found the riddles that were too easy, the ones that were unfair, and the ones that made you swear at your screen in the best way. The vaults are better because you broke into them first.

The vault is open. The clock is ticking. Pick up where you left off.

Think you can crack it?

The first two vaults are free. No sign-up, no card.
